How we test
The rules every review on this site follows
- Published prices, verified with dates. Every figure is checked against the vendor's official pricing page or terms, and stamped with the day we checked it. Stale pages get re-checked or flagged.
- Public demos, documented. Where vendors publish product tours, we walk them and describe what's actually inside — with attribution. Where they hide pricing behind "Talk to sales", we document the wall itself.
- Community evidence is cited, never laundered. When Reddit or forum experience informs a verdict, we link the thread and label it as anecdotal. Aggregated star ratings are treated as noise.
- Hands-on tests are labeled as such. Where we have run a product ourselves, the page says so explicitly. Where we haven't, we never pretend otherwise.
- Every review names who should NOT buy — and affiliate status never touches rankings. If we can't name a bad-fit customer, we don't publish. Today the site has no affiliate relationships at all — the disclosure explains what changes if that changes.
